LAFOR OLATERU-OLAGBEGI
Prince Olateru-Olagbegi joined the team from AIG Insurance Company USA, (the world’s leading US-based international insurance and financial services organization and the world’s largest underwriter of commercial and industrial insurance company); where he worked for over 10 years; the last 5 years as a General Manager. He bagged his BBA from Prairie View A&M University of Texas, and MBA from Long Island University, New York.
Alongside his accolades in the Insurance profession, Prince Olagbegi made the distinguished Presidential Council trip and Award to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2000, and another Presidential Council trip and Award to Puerto Rico Island in 1998. He made a National Leaders Conference trip and award to Honolulu, Hawaii in 1997 and another National Leaders Conference trip and award to Nashville Tennessee in 1996. He won the National Sales Award by NALU in 1997 in the USA.
Prince Olagbegi got his Insurance designations of Chartered Leadership Fellow (CLF) and Life Underwriter Training Council Fellowship (LUTCF) from the famous America’s Leading Financial Services Educational Institution; The American College in Bryan Mawr, Pennsylvania, U.S in 2004 and 2001 respectively.
Prince Olagbegi is a visiting Insurance & Estate Planning lecturer at the Detroit Entrepreneurship Institute of Detroit Michigan, Also he has been a Moderator for The American College for the LUTC classes in the following subjects – Exploring personal market, Management & Human Relations, Meeting client needs and Retirement planning since year 2000 in greater Detroit Metropolitan area.
Prince Olagbegi is a regular motivational/Guest speaker at Detroit Public Schools in Michigan, U.SA. He is the founder of L&J Staffing Agency and LOO Insurance Agency both in the City of Southfield, Michigan U. S. A.
Before sojourning abroad, he was the Vice President-Marketing of Flame Petroleum and Gas, Ltd. And prior to that, he was an Area manager with Texaco Nigeria Plc. He’s a member of GAMA (General Agent and Managers Association) international, The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, (NAIFA). Etc. He brings to the team a rich and robust experience cutting across the Oil and Gas Insurance industry.Prince Olagbegi is the Managing Director/CEO.

AYOBAMI OGUNKEYE Ayobami is a 1990 graduate of the University of Ibadan where he studied Zoology. He also holds an Executive Diploma in Insurance and is a fellow of the Institute of Direct marketing of Nigeria (IDMN).
He is a versatile and seasoned practitioner with over 15 year’s experience. Ayo started his insurance career as a pioneer staff of Royal Property and Casualty Assurance which became Royal Trust Plc where he worked in most key areas of the company rising to key management positions. He pioneered a different marketing team when he joined Regency Insurance Company Limited and was able to increase the company’s market share of insurance business.
His expertise in restructuring of marketing activities led him to pioneer the financial institution/oil and energy marketing team of Standard Alliance Insurance Company Plc. He then left after two years to join the team that started First Chartered Insurance Company Limited (now Investment and Allied Insurance Plc) where he served in the capacity of a Group Head. Due to his consistent initiative and drive, he was made Regional Director with the responsibility of supervising eight branches.
In 2004, he joined GTI Insurance Company (now Insurance PHB) as the Group General Manger (Marketing & Business Development). At Insurance PHB he was able to restructure the marketing team to harness the opportunity that exist in the retail arm of the insurance business as well as coordinate the banc assurance model.
In December 2008, he decided to pitch his tent with Oceanic Insurance Group where he is responsible for coordinating marketing and business development activities for Financial Institutions, Brokers and Retail Businesses as in the position of Assistant General Manager.
He is a motivational speaker and has attended several courses, seminars and workshops both locally and internationally.
He is happily married.
BANKOLE ABIMBOLA BABALOLA
Bankole Abimbola Babalola holds a Bachelors Degree in Agriculture (bias for Agricultural Economics) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State. He was best graduating student in his class. He holds the Associateship Certificates of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPMN) and the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM). He is an alumnus of the prestigious Lagos Business School having attended the Senior Management Programme (SMP, class 21) in 2004.
He began his career with Leadway Assurance Company Limited where he cut his teeth in Human Resources Management and Administration. He left Leadway in 2005 to join the Nigerian German Chemicals Plc as Manager, Human Resources. His stay with NGC was brief as he was soon invited to join the new Management team of Law Union & Rock Insurance Plc as Head, Human Capital Development & Corporate Strategy to assist in repositioning the organization for greater performance.
At Law Union, he was responsible for setting up a fully functional HR Department alongside a supporting Administration/Maintenance Department. He played a key role in setting the tone for mutual industrial relations between the Management and the Staff Unions leveraging on his membership of the Executive Committee, the highest decision-making body of the organization and his past experience both in the service and product industries.
Bankole has attended several courses, workshops, seminars, conferences, and strategy sessions on Human Resources, General Management and Strategy. He is an employee champion and an advocate for work-life balance.
He joined Oceanic Insurance Group in October, 2008 as Group Head, Human Resources and Administration.A Christian, nature enthusiast and keen watcher of world affairs as it relates to man’s continued existence on Earth, Bankole is happily married to Doyin with two beautiful children between them.
ABOLARIN ADEBAYO
Abolarin Adebayo is a graduate of Accounting from Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin and an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
He started his working career with Kwara State Broadcasting Corporation and later joined University of Ilorin functioning in the internal Audit unit of both organizations. He left the public service in 1999 and joined Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc to commence his Insurance career.
While in Sovereign Trust, he attended various Financial and Insurance Accounting related courses and served in different capacities within the Finance and Investments Division and rose to the position of a Manager in charge of Banking Operations and Investments before his recent appointment with Oceanic Insurance Group.
He is the Group Head, Finance & Investment for Oceanic Insurance Company Limited.
He is married with children.
JOHN U. ATSELEFUN
Mr. Atselefun is an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria and Nigeria Institute of Management (Chartered).He also holds a Certificate in Management from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and Advanced Diploma Certificate in Business Administration from OAU, Ile-Ife, Osun State and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State.
Mr. Atselefun has over twenty years cognate working experience in Underwriting, Marketing and general Branch Management particularly in the Northern part of Nigeria having worked with various underwriting and insurance broking outfit. He started his Insurance career with the Gateway Insurance Company Limited in 1981 and has since then worked at various levels with reputable Insurance Companies and Brokerage firms.
Mr. Atselefun joined Oceanic Insurance Company Limited as its Head of Technical from Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc where he was the Head of the Northern Operations.
He is a Very amiable gentleman, who loves playing chess game and love making new friends.

ADEWALE KADRI
Adewale Kadri is an Associate of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria. He holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration with specialization in Marketing from Lagos State University, Ojo. He is also an Alumnus of The Polytechnic Ibadan where he obtained Higher National Diploma in Insurance and graduated with Upper Credit Division.
Wale Kadri is a seasoned Marketer who began his Insurance career with Worldwide Insurance Company Limited in 1994 as a Life Marketer and later moved to ELMAC Assurance Nigeria Limited in 1997 where he joined the Team that was saddled with the responsibility of Marketing the Company’s various special packaged products. He also worked as an Insurance Officer of Modandola Group of Companies where he was exposed to the rudiment of Insurance broking and technical operations.
He later joined the Marketing team of Newline Insurance Company Limited and Sun Insurance Plc where he worked in various managerial capacities before joining the pioneer team of UBA Insurance in 2004 as Group Head, Brokers’ Management Division. While at UBA Insurance, he served in various committees which ensure the successful take off of the first Bancassurance Business Model in Nigeria.
He had a brief stay in NICON Insurance Plc as Senior Manager/Head, Strategic Business Unit before joining Oceanic Insurance Company Limited as Group Head, Brokers Management Unit.
He is happily married with children.
DEMOLA OLOWOSUNA
Demola is a product of Lagos State Polytechnic where he obtained his Higher National Diploma in Insurance. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria.
He started his insurance career with Universe Reinsurance Company Limited in 1994 where he worked for ten years and acquired tremendous experience in all aspects of reinsurance administration (facultative, treaty, claims recoveries and marketing). In 2004, he joined Nem Insurance Plc as Senior Manager (Reinsurance and Claims). During his one year stay in the company he made valuable contributions not only in the reinsurance unit but in the entire technical department which earned him the nomination as first secretary of the company’s Research Committee inaugurated by the company’s Managing Director to review all technical documentation and processes.
In January 2005, his service was sought after by Guardian Express Insurance Company Limited and was employed as the Head –Risk Management Group. In June 2005, he moved to Unitrust Insurance Company Limited as Manager- Reinsurance and later asked to pioneer the company’s first Special Risk section as Head - Reinsurance/Oil& Energy Division where he successfully packaged and got enlisted in various oil and Energy accounts.
Demola presently heads the Technical Department of Oceanic Insurance Company Limited and has direct responsibility for the Company’s Reinsurance, Aviation and Oil & Energy technical activities.
He has attended both local and international courses including Munich Re Advance Reinsurance Course on Reinsurance, Management, General Underwriting, Claims and Oil and Gas.He is happily married with children.
Gbemisola Durowaiye FCA, ACIT
Gbemi Durowaiye is product of The Federal Polytechnic Ilaro Ogun State where he studied Accountancy.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), and an associate of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).
His working career started at Hogg Robinson Nigeria Ltd from where he moved on to Medexia Limited, and on to Campaign and Concept, Leadway Assurance Company Limited and ADIC Insurance before joining the employment of Oceanic Insurance Group.He is a member of Lagos Country Club.
