In 2005, Corporate Ideals Insurers (CII) was bought over by Oceanic Bank International Plc; the company (CII) is currently being restructured and repositioned inline with the new recapitalization requirements. This effort is also geared towards preparing CII for challenges and opportunities ahead. The name Corporate Ideals Insurers has been changed to Oceanic Insurance Company Limited and Oceanic Life Assurance Limited in proactive fulfilment of the regulator’s guideline that all existing composite business should be spilted into two legal entities.
